Earthy & Intimate Backyard Wedding in Reno, NV
I met the happy couple when they started planning to have their wedding on the Oregon Coast. However, they had to change locations due to the pandemic. As an Oregon-based wedding photographer, it’s been a blast getting to know Camryn and Phillip. This Reno, NV couple met through Camryn’s sister and wanted to do a destination wedding. However, they decided to throw the perfect intimate backyard wedding in their hometown.
Gorgeous Florals & A Second Dress for the Wedding
Camryn is a florist and the theme of their wedding was a garden party. It was so exquisite! She had the entire space decorated with beautiful flowers and arrangements placed in clay pots. Vintage elements were perfectly placed throughout the space. All of the bouquets were created by Camryn as well. I loved that the bridesmaids wore floral print dresses. Even the groom and groomsmen wore floral print neckties to add to the theme.
Camryn created a floral hairpiece to wear in her hair; which was delicate and beautiful and paired well with her long-sleeved lace bodice gown she wore for the ceremony. She had a separate dress she changed into for the reception and photos. This dress was also laced with a high slit and an open back. She was simply stunning!
Taco Trucks + Picnic Tables = Perfection
This wedding was a blast to capture. When Camryn and Phillip decided to have a Taco Truck, I suggested they should bring in picnic tables to add to the vision. I love helping my couples plan their wedding by sharing any expertise and information I’ve gathered along the way.
