This is my full wedding photography camera bag!!

Cameras
My main camera is the Canon EOS R5 Mark II and my backup is my Canon EOS R5.
I will always have at least two camera bodies with me. Weddings have no do-overs, so if something stops working five minutes before a ceremony, I need to be able to grab another camera and keep going. The Canon EOS R6 Mark II or R6 Mark III are both incredible options.

Lenses
If you see me at a wedding, there is a VERY good chance the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L is on my camera. This is my workhorse lens. I love being able to go from something wider to a tighter portrait without constantly switching lenses.
My other favorite is my Canon RF85mm F1.4 L VCM. I LOVE it for ceremonies and portraits. It gives me that creamy background and compression without having to be right on top of people.

Flash & Lighting Setup
I currently use the Godox V100C with the Godox X3 Trigger. I’ve changed my flash setup over the years, but this is what I’m loving right now!

Camera Bags & Straps
I have tried SO many camera bags over the years.
My main bag is the Vanguard VEO Select 58T Trolley Backpack. The fact that it rolls is probably my favorite part. Wedding days already involve carrying enough stuff, so if I don’t have to carry another 30 pounds on my back, I don’t want to.
While I’m shooting, I use a Spider Camera Holster Belt so I can keep two cameras on me without straps hanging everywhere.
Then I have my BAGGU medium crossbody bag for everything I need within two seconds: batteries, memory cards, lip gloss, a hand fan and my point-and-shoot film camera.

Storage & Batteries
I bring Samsung T7 portable SSDs to weddings and use Lexar SD and CFexpress cards in my cameras.
I have two card wallets loaded with enough cards to get through the entire wedding day without needing to format anything.
And here is one of the easiest little systems I use:
TIP: When a card is full, I put it back in the case backwards so I know it’s used!
I do the exact same thing with batteries! Charged batteries face the right direction and dead batteries get flipped around. It’s SO simple, but when you’re eight hours into a wedding day, I never have to question whether I’m grabbing a fresh battery or card.
I normally bring around 8 Canon batteries plus two chargers so I can charge throughout the day if needed.

Film Camera & Creative Extras
I almost always have a point-and-shoot film camera tucked into my crossbody bag. I love using film for the little in-between moments and things happening around me. My favorite film stocks are Kodak Portra 400 and Kodak Gold 200.
I also carry an acrylic flower that I sometimes shoot through during portraits. It’s such a simple way to add a soft, dreamy blur around the edges of an image!
Drone
I also bring my DJI Mini 3 Fly More Combo with me. I mostly use my drone for photos rather than video and love it for venue photos, large groups and getting a completely different perspective of the property.

Tote Bag
My Lands’ End large tote has somehow turned into the bag that holds EVERYTHING.
After photographing weddings for years, you start realizing how many random little things you need!!
- JBL speaker
- A sewing kit and styling kit (bobby pins, fashion tape, lint roller)
- Snacks and a water bottle
- Bloom energy stick packets for when the day runs long
- Gum and mints
- Hair clips
- Extra socks — I’ve genuinely given a bride the socks off my own feet more than once because she forgot hers for a shoe change
- My drone and a backup flash, packed here for the day
